Innovations
«PIR ALU» company (Spain) has developed a system of new generation airways, this innovation allows to achieve high parameters not only of dynamic indicators and air distribution, but also of temperature indicators. The main novelty of these systems is in the airways that are integrated in all the ventilation components. Their basis is polyurethane, coated with aluminium (80 мcм) with a special cover. The production is ecologically harmless, and the formula has been patented. Nowadays, the most common material for the production of airways is zinc-coated steel plate, the only advantage of which is its moderateness. The materials, used to cover the metal frame for the sound insulation and heat-reflection, leave much to be desired in terms of exactness of characteristics and aesthetics. It turns out that with the assembly-line production the
characteristics of airways mostly depend on the fitters’ level of
qualification and also on the terms of the handing-over of the project!
Having used this technology for many years everybody has got used to it and do not pay attention to the obvious disadvantages of such systems. As a result of the usage of zinc-coated steel it is difficult to guarantee exact heat engineering characteristics, let alone aesthetic exterior, especially in case of the absence of acoustical ceiling or exterior usage of airways. Innovative developments made by the «PIR ALU» company in the sphere of ventilation have given a possibility to achieve much higher temperature and dynamic parameters of air distribution. Cutting and assembling is realized directly at the object. The main target is to cut billets of the necessary shape according to the templates and rulers with a special knife, and then glue them. Airways have margin of safety, allowing to produce frames of huge dimensions without additional stiffening plates.Large distance between the frame fastenings is acceptable, due to the stability toughness of panels. Thus it is possible to produce the incut of grills without additional flange unions. By the way, the weight of the constructions – minimal (1 м2 of the frame weighs 1,4 кg), that allows to install the frame «PIR ALU» very easily. It is worth mentioning that due to the the aesthetics of the
exterior of the airways it is possible to install the system without
the usage of acoustical ceiling.
